Another bridal…

I love this elegant little lady, she has become one of my true best friends!!  I was so excited with these photos and I am shooting her wedding right now!!

Haley, I wish you and Cody all the best in the world!!  May your lives together be happy and healthy, and keep me in it lol!!!

Enjoy these…

Here comes the bride…

As you are reading this, this sweet girl, who has become a dear friend now, has just gotten hitched to her sweet red headed prince charming, and I am there shooting that too!!  Doing bridal portraits is one of the hardest things to do, you can’t show anyone until they are hitched lol!!

We had such a great day doing these and we both loved them!!  This little country girl loves that blue door at the old Spencer’s and her critters (and the neighbors’ dog too).  I wish I had videoed her wrangling up that goat!!!  Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Crossingham, may your lives be blessed and I hope you always remember the way you feel today!!!  Hugs <3

Special thanks to Kelleigh and Dee at The Farmhouse Siloam for use of their beautiful venue!!  Check them out!!

New friends

Back story…At the beginning of the year I saw a beautiful new wedding venue come across my Facebook feed called The Farmhouse Siloam, I messaged them and told them I’d like to come out and see what they had going on to be able to possibly use it for bridal photos.  I met Kelleigh, she and her mom Dee have really worked their hind ends off and have made this old house even more beautiful than it already was.  Kelleigh quickly became one of my favorite people, she is so authentic and so committed to local business!  She was talking about her friends Shannon and Angie, at Sweet Paws Home Goods that made the candles and vinyls she had around there, it smelled so good in there!  So I met them, and Shannon and Angie volunteered to come to my studio one afternoon and helped me hang curtains and pictures up in my office, and they make my swag bags which have been a huge hit with my clients.  So now we have a business relationship, they are a part of my team, but even better I have three new friends!!

Current story…We were supposed to have done this shoot a couple of weeks ago, but Angie had gotten called away for work. She contacted me and said she wanted to make it up to Shannon for having to work, so we booked it again without Shannon’s knowledge to surprise her.  They wanted to do them at The Farmhouse Siloam, so that’s what we did.  We had so many laughs in that hour, I think that is the most fun I have had doing a shoot in a long time, and of course we had to throw Kelleigh into a few of the pictures too!!  Thanks so much to all three of these wonderful people!!  I am so glad our paths crossed!

Haley and Cody…

Although, I love doing boudoir photography and consider it my “specialty,” I still enjoy doing the other types too…

This freakin’ cute couple have been to me on several occasions, starting with their newborn baby session almost a year and a half ago, and now I have the true pleasure of being a part of this special time in their life.  They are getting married in May and these are from their engagement shoot we did today.

We were scared the rain was going to interfere, but they came on to the studio anyway and got to meet my newest team member Adrienne, and Haley got her make up done (which was FABULOUS!!) By the time make up was complete, the rain had pretty much stopped, so they piled up in my car and we hit the road to Pilot Mountain and ended up fighting the wind instead.

They now know my fear of heights is a real thing, and I know their funny nicknames for each other (which are safe with me guys lol).  Then we headed back to downtown Mount Airy to finish up.  Besides a few mishaps with my being vertically challenged, we pulled off some awesome photos. I had a blast with them and I am so excited they chose me to do this for them!  I loved seeing the connection they have and how much fun they truly have together…a perfect match!!  I can’t wait to shoot the wedding!!  Enjoy these!
