How Created Wonderfully changed my life– I have struggled with anxiety, depression, and self-image issues for as long as I can remember. Being a mom of three amazing kids and working all the time makes it quite difficult to take care of myself and furthermore, to take the time to make myself feel confident. As women most of us immediately pick ourselves apart upon stepping in front of a mirror. It doesn’t matter how many times our significant other tells us we’re beautiful, we still find every dimple, crease, discoloration, and fine line; and to us it’s much worse than it actually is.

I went a couple of years ago and spoke with Christie about a photoshoot and I decided against it in the end. My self-esteem kept me from taking the plunge. So at the end of last year, with a push from my dear fiancé, I finally purchased a shoot- and let me tell you, I was nervous! I went and let my better half do a bit of shopping for me so I would have lingerie he thought I’d look good in and by the time the day came I was a ball of nerves. I walked in and Christie made me feel right at home. She brought me a hairdryer to borrow and offered me a snack and drink.

Then I met Heather who was amazing. This woman took my dry, acne scarred face and molded it into a beautiful, glamorous, smooth face. She made me feel like a pampered princess. After talking with Christie again for a bit and looking over her extensive wardrobe for some inspiration and other lingerie options, we got started. I was nervous for all of 5 minutes after getting started, though. Christie made me feel so comfortable and confident.

I felt beautiful, sexy, and sassy (for the first time ever in my life). I left feeling confident with my head held high. All of this was an amazing experience, worth every penny, all of the cliche things you’d expect me to say but let me just tell you about the reveal! I was super excited and nervous to see how these pictures actually turned out. I have never modeled before, haven’t had professional pictures done in 6 years, and had never even attempted anything quite like this.

Christie made an amazing video with some of the pictures she took and as soon as it started I lost my breath and even said out loud to my fiancé “oh my goodness, that’s me” while having a mini heart attack. Then I cried. I cried because I didn’t know I could be beautiful. I didn’t know I could be sexy. Christie made me all of these things!! And there’s photo evidence of it!! I have never experienced something that truly improved my self confidence like this. I have been riding on a positivity high since I walked out of the studio.

I feel like this experience reignited the spark that begins to dim 7 years into a relationship. This isn’t just pictures, it’s not just a photoshoot, it’s truly life-changing. I am so confident now; I’m happy with my curves, confident in my skin, and excited to do it again!! Don’t hesitate. If you don’t think this is for you- you’re wrong. Talk to Christie, there’s something in this for everyone and you will finish this experience feeling better about yourself than you ever thought possible.

Thank you, Christie, for changing my entire visual of myself. I don’t look in the mirror and see all the imperfections like I used to and I can’t express how much that has changed my perspective on life. I’m confident, and nothing exudes radiance better than confidence.
